Presentation

Since 1982 and with prizes and research grants of a total of 20,000 € awarded every year, the Mustela Foundation has been supporting projects liable to be of interest to the general public and with practical applications for childhood professionals.

The grants, totalling 12,000 €, are aimed at contributing financially to research at a PhD or post-PhD level. Grants awarded cover a vast scope of research: psychology, sociology, clinical humanities, perinatal psychiatry, parenthood and children.

The Mustela Foundation is also developing an 8,000 € action research award action research award to support innovative actions led by practitioners in the field and/or researchers. Every year, the Scientific Committee will propose a new topic covering action research.

In 2012, the subject is : « Being a parent today ».

The Scientific committee that allocates the Awards and Grants includes specialists, representing the fields of psychiatry and neuro-psychiatry, psychoanalysis, paediatrics, psychology, history and linguistics.
