The scientific committee awarded the third edition of the Social Paediatrics Award to doctor Agnès SATGER for her project entitled “Creating a nursery to encourage the mother-baby, father-baby bond in everyday care giving” ».
This project consists in accompanying young parents (less than 21 years of age) in everyday care giving in order to create a bond with their child.
The aim is to:
- Support parents in their everyday care giving, regardless of the type of bond involved
- Accompany the implementation of parent-children bonds at an early stage through a regular and benevolent presence and by taking into account the mothers’ young age
