Our organisation
The Mustela Foundation is presided by Jean-Paul Berthomé, also president of Laboratoires Expanscience. It is run by Chantal Larcade, Communications director, Emmanuelle Dumas, Communications manager and Dorothée Vuibert, Communications Assistant.
The links that the Mustela Foundation has forged with health care professionals throughout these past 25 years constitute its great strength. Indeed, when choosing research subjects, projects to support and paths to follow, the Mustela Foundation relies on 3 multidisciplinary expert committees of childhood health care professionals:
- The scientific committee on Awards and Grants chooses the winners of research grants. It also determines every year the annual prevention theme for the Research-Action Award and supervises the fulfilment of the entire project alongside the Mustela Foundation.
- The scientific committee on the Social Paediatrics award analyses application files and chooses the winner of the Social Paediatrics Award among potential projects. It ensures the project is making headway and checks the standard of results.
- The scientific prevention committee brings together paediatric nurses, midwives, paediatricians and psychologists. It sets a topic for elaborating training tools aimed at prevention players.
The Fondation de France offers its expertise, ensures that the professional code of ethics is being respected and manages the accounts. The representative of the Childhood department of the Fondation de France also sits on the committees.
